About 25 stairs that are industrial type. Wide and made from cement and steal. Solid steal railings
Parking is always hard in Dinkytown but the food is worth the effort
It's a deck rather than a patio, so you'd have to go through the restaurant to get there. I'm not saying you can't have a dog out on the deck, but in 30 years I've never seen one there.
Unlikely, has not changed in 40 years
It's on the street, but there is plenty of it.
Yes they do
Incredible food! Classic burgers, fries and malts. The quintessential burger joint. A must eat experience. Will definitely go back -- and bring friends and family.
A favorite of mine and my sons when we are down in the area. A burger and a malt. If you need any more proof of how good the burgers are, Im a vegetarian but I will indulge at Annie's.
The shakes here are absolutely great. The food is good but not better than other burger restaurants. The view from the outside seating is pretty good as well.
The steak burger was absolutely delicious!! The food and service are on point. Thought fries were a little pricey but you get a ton and the they're amazing.
Whoops I think this place is overpriced for how overrated their food is and the service is sad to say the least. I would have wanted someone to tell me so that's what I'm doing now.
This place holds a special place in my heart. Since the moment I discovered it six years ago to now, it has always been an amazing experience. This year around I got to take my two foreign exchange students there for a "True Ametican Restaurant Experience".As always, Annie's Parlour did not disappoint. Everything from dipping fries in butterscotch malts to our delicious burgers was amazing!
Service and atmosphere was pleasant for a cold winter monday night. Hot chocolate was watery, burger was tasteless and over cooked (what I call a hockey puck). Onion rings were sub par. Chicken soup was dry? (How do you make dry chicken soup) and tasteless. Didn't try a malt or the frys, they seem to be their best items according to other reviews. Probably wont be back.
Their fries are amazing! I’m not usually huge on fries but I could eat these all the time! Combine them with a delicious shake or malt and you are good to go! There are so many delicious flavors to choose from! The patio is also awesome if there is room, with a beautiful view of Minneapolis.
5 stars. Nothing fancy but oh man good food. Really good burgers and chicken sandwiches. Huge basket of fries, half order too! And the shakes; try a shake. Basic diner menu with a bunch of sandwiches, salads, appetizers, and icecream.
In town for a visit so we went to Annie’s Parlour late. Thank you for being open. Our server was very nice and friendly. I ordered a burger. I thought it was served hot and had good flavor. Our waitress suggested a basket of fries to save us $. Thanks. The burger was B+ but the fries were A+. We had fun. No TVs?
I’ve been going here ever since high school when my Mom introduced me to this place. I love their malts so much and I’m super happy they have a veggie burger here for those who have different diets or simply want to eat something other than meat for a change. Love the walkable location and how close it is to many other eating spots too. Bring your friends here- they’ll love this classic American restaurant!
Great milk shakes and giant servings of fries
Pretty chill place in dinkytown, it's your average burger and fries joint. They have a pretty limited menu but the fries are amazing! Huge portion-a half order will be enough for 3 people! They don't have any shakes only malts,a bit on the pricey side. $6.95 for basically anything but worth the money. Watch out for the staircase going up! It's easy to trip on >.<
Review Updated: they were really busy but somehow still satbus right away. We had gone just for shakes but it turned out they had ran out of Oreos. However we still got food and both the grilled cheese and fried were really good. They closed two hours earlier than they said they were going to when I called in to ask. The food was decent but was ridiculously expensive and you have to buy your fries separately. However the shakes are phenomenal and is basically the size of two.
If you're looking for a no frills hamburger place, this is it. Somewhat simplified menu with mostly burgers and sandwiches means they do those two things right. Huge side portions (a full order of fries serves 3 easily) and delicious burgers are well worth the trip. They even have some beer and wine options if that's your thing
These were some great burgers and fries. Well done.
Amazing malts and burgers!! Burgers are huge and malts last just long enough to finish the burger and still have a refreshing, milky malt afterwards!!
Great lunch food and service. Place was packed but they got us in and food quickly. Malts and burgers were great.
Don't miss this hidden gem. I'm pretty sure we had about a gallon of ice cream between four of us and enough hot fudge to please Willy Wonka. Next time we'll try dinner, this time was just dessert.
Great service! They make a great burger and you can't stop eating their fries! Very reasonable!
Delicious food and so comfortable environment. Nice and friendly staff and good service! Highly recommended!
Good if you like french fries. They give you a lot! Not too good if you have dietary restrictions. It was extra busy between 6:30 and 7:30, super hard to find a parking spot and the service was a little slow. After that time everything was better
There is no better place for a milk shake and a burger than Annie's. I enjoy lunch the most as the natural light is great and you can even sit out on the deck. But the shakes are what sets Annie's apart. So thick they are served with a spoon!
